Zik Zulu Okafor turns 50 today. Zik is the Chairman, Editorial Board of BRANDPOWER magazine and has contributed immensely to the growth of media, journalism and the creative industry in Nigeria.
Zik Zulu is an award-winning journalist, foremost TV/film writer and Producer; and scholar. He is the current President of the Association of Movie Producers Nigeria (AMP). Winner, Nigeria Media Merit Awards News Magazine Journalist of the Year, (1992) and nominated the same year for the Crime Reporter of the Year.
Zik, in 2013 initiated and led the industry to achieve the soar-away success of the recent Nollywood at 20 celebrations which bought ‘2 Billion eyes to Nigeria’.
